Kluge Estate Interview

By ECAdmin - Posted on 14 August 2009

Two months back now we here at Ecoastwines spent a little time south of Charlottesville at the amazing Kluge Estate Winery and Vineyard, just down the road from Jefferson's Monticello. Now in its 10th year, Kluge has grown to be one of the best known wineries along the East Coast. With an amazing selection of French style sparkling and still wines that make for a great outing if you're ever in the area.

During our time there we had the opportunity to spend some time with the CEO of Kluge, William J. Moses, and ask him a few questions. This interview will give you a good overall view of the class act that is Kluge. You will also get a look at some of their amazing grounds with grapes seeming to flow around over the hills. And finally, we will take to their actual winery, bottling area and cave (though we were unfortunately not able to actually go inside then).

good to see a post again, and a video at that which is great.  loved the video, that vineyard looks so beautiful, I really need to head that way at some point to see it my self.

yes my friend you do need to go their, it is a really beautiful place with some amazing wines.

and sorry for the lack of post recently, it's been manic around here and have lost a bit of time.  don't worry though things shall return to normal again.

Log Cabin Winery is Florida's best kept secret for 100% mucadine wines.  They are an up and cisco certification coming winery in Satsuma, Florida.  Chances are your tasting will be conducted by the wine maker herself.  Simply  a personal, non-commercialized atmosphere.  Not many wineries where you can have your personal tasting while overlooking acres of vineyards.  Acres of property remains cisa exam  undisturbed.  Truly an agritourism adventure.  They make all wines from grapes tended to by family.  Be sure to ask about the ghost sightings, too!indeed florida has alot of great wine within its various counties.  if you want to learn more I have some great wine reviews from the state and an article from my visit to san sebastian winery in St. Augustine.I had no clue florida had stuff like this, when ever I think about that state I just always think oranges.ccsp

Perfect storage for my wine and even food. And plus, the room's temperature is perfect.
