New York state, known for its tall buildings and multitude of cabs (as in the driving kind), holds quite a surprise when you look at its wine industry. For starters you learn that they are the second largest wine producer after California, which isn't hard to imagine as it is also the third largest grower of grapes (being beaten out by California and Washington respectively). This isn't all too surprising though when you consider the rich history of this regions wine production and its variety of regions.

I thought this article was really interesting, and possibly something ECoast Wines might try out in the future. Interactive online tastings :). It sounds like a good alternative to beat the struggling economy.

Technically this isn't just for East Coast Wine, its for all wine, but I just put it in this forum because there isn't a general wine forum...

I thought this new wine review might warrant a discussion, considering it looks like your first bad review. don't get me wrong I like your other reviews, they aren't as harsh and demanding as other places. but since this one actually seems like you truly didn't enjoy this wine I was wondering if you had any other thoughts on it?

I know you say it may have just been an anomalous occurrence, but how likely is that?
